This is the 30th month and I think I am making some headway where sps is concerned. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the chiller but I suppose it does help. Whilst most of my sps eventually bleached out previously, these new additions seemed quite stable. The green pocci that I bought from Ah Beng was doing fine for a while, so I gradually added some sps from Taiwan and they were also doing well, so I recently added quite a number from Aquarist Chamber and GO.
I haven't heard anything on the Zeolith reactor so I may just stick with the dosing system for now. I may also need to upgrade my chiller because I am concerned on the longevity of it since these days the weather has been very hot and the chiller I bought is actually undersized for my aquarium.
The updates are presented below.
Aquarium 3 (3 x 1.5 x 1.5 feet and sump - 250 litres)
The Red Planet sps was bought some months ago and for a while I thought it was dead because I didn't see any polyps or growth. I didn't remove it and gradually I noticed the polyps appearing just as the base turned more green. It was only with this change that I felt the aquarium was ready for me to add some sps.
I added one sps followed by another and another until I had all these amazing sps in the aquarium.
