34 MONTHS

It is almost coming to 3 years since I returned to aquarium reefing, so here's the latest update.

Aquarium 1  (1 ft cube - 27 litres)

I am not posting any photos of this aquarium since there are no new additions or removals. I should be getting something on this Wed to add on to this aquarium.

The livestock are:
  • Fishes
    • False Percula Clownfish
    • Hector Goby
  • Invertebrates
    • Turbo Snails
    • Tuxedo Sea Urchin

    • Maxspect Razor Nano 60W (10,000K)

    Aquarium 3 (3 x 1.5 x 1.5 feet and sump - 250 litres)
After I upgraded the chiller, the sps seemed more stable. It could just be completely my psychological perception.

However, I have a diatoms problem for a few weeks now and no amount of vacumming the sand out of the aquarium helped so I am just letting it grow and will wait for it to go away.

I also got a new piece of equipment Maxspect Gyre and I am happy with it for now.

      Aquarium under white lights.

The diatoms is obvious on the sand.

The Maxspect Gyre on the left of the aquarium.

The stuff doesn't stand out under white lights.

      The green Montipora digitata.

      The Radioactive Bird Nest sps.

      The cyan blue digitata.

The unknown sps is showing off some green colour.

      The Red Planet.

      The orange Cyphastrea.

The diatoms on the sand bed didn't abate after numerous vacuuming.

      I moved the mushrooms up.

I moved this Pocci numerous times and it is showing its displeasure.

The same view under blue lights.

The actual colours look better than in photos.
